Development of Project Based Science Learning Module to Improve Students’ Critical Thinking Skill

Project based learning (PjBL) is a model which can encourage students to be more involved in their and think critically. The purpose of this study produce project science module for grade 5 Sekolah Dasar (SD)/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) as product research. This research was Research Development (R&D) utilized the 4D model. result showed that validation by material experts obtain percentage 75%, linguists 83.9%, media 85, 5% so made are declared feasible used classroom. Individual trials on 88%. In small group trial 10 92.8% large 20 96.7%. results initial observations final an increase students’ critical thinking skills with average difference individual 21.80000, 21.40000 21.55000. Apart from looking at differences trials, also found experimental class treated control not given treatment during test, 10.60000. conclusion, effective improving elementary students.
